Carl Raymond Jonson (1891 – 1982)
In 1927 formed a group of painters in Santa Fe called "Six Men" that consisted of Jonson, Nordfeldt, Andrew Dasburg, Jozef Bakos, Willard Nash, and John E. Thompson.
In 1938 Jonson banded together a group of painters as the Transcendental Painting Group.
