Taos Fall Arts Festival
Celebration of Taos Local Artists
Every fall, as the cottonwoods turn gold along the Rio Grande, Taos celebrates the artists who live and work here. The Taos Fall Arts Festival has been part of that tradition for more than fifty years, started by local arts advocate Barbara Brenner and carried on by the community ever since. For two weeks, exhibitions fill historic buildings around the Plaza, and more than 250 contemporary artists show their work. It is one of the best times of year to see the range of art being made in northern New Mexico, all in one walkable part of town. See more details: taosfallarts.com.
